For Windows 11 and 10
See what takes up the space.
Dysky scans a drive on every core and draws it as one ring you can explore, folder by folder. It only reads, so there's nothing to break.
Small app. Clear answers.
Everything you need to find what fills a drive, and nothing that could harm it.
Read-only by design
Dysky never deletes, moves or changes a file. Find what's big, then remove it in File Explorer, where the Recycle Bin has your back.
Fast on big drives
A parallel Rust scanner reads 1.4 million files in about 20 seconds. The ring fills in live as folders finish.
One chart, every folder
Click a slice to zoom in. Point at a folder to light it up in both the chart and the list.
Five shapes
Ring, Half, Bubbles, Spiral and Dots. Pick the one that reads best for you.
Search that shows where
Start typing a name and the chart lights up wherever the matches are.
Honest sizes
Online-only OneDrive files count as 0 bytes and compressed files count what they take. Folders it can't read are reported, not hidden.
Feels like Windows 11
Mica, Fluent controls, light and dark themes, and full keyboard and screen reader support.
Private by default
No account, no telemetry and no network access at all. Even the window's security policy blocks the internet.
Open source, MIT licensed.
Read every line on GitHub, build it yourself, or help shape what comes next. Every release is built in public and comes with checksums and a build attestation.

Is Dysky free?
Yes. It's open source under the MIT License, with no ads, no accounts and no in-app purchases.
Can Dysky delete files?
No, and that's on purpose. No code path in Dysky writes, moves or deletes your files. Use Show in File Explorer and delete things there.
Why are the numbers different from File Explorer?
File Explorer counts in binary units but labels them GB. Pick Settings → Size units → Binary (GiB) to match it. Dysky also adds up what files really take on the disk, and counts a file with several hard links once per name.
Does it need admin rights?
No. It installs and runs as you. A few system folders can't be read without admin rights; Dysky skips them and tells you how many there were.
Does it go online?
Never. No telemetry, no update checks and no accounts. The window itself is not allowed to reach the internet.
Windows says “Windows protected your PC”. Is it safe?
The installer from GitHub isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns about it. Click More info, then Run anyway. Each release lists SHA-256 checksums and a build attestation, so you can check that the file was built from the public source code.
Which Windows do I need?
64-bit Windows 11, or Windows 10 version 1809 or later, with Microsoft Edge WebView2. WebView2 comes with Windows 11, and the installer adds it where it's missing.
